Just a few days left until the new year.
I think people look forward to the New Year.
A fresh start. Hope for a better future.
Let us pray we will see peace in the new year.
More cooperation and compassion.
Change.
A lot of people make resolutions for the New Year.
I think it's a good idea as long as you stick to them.
Like goals, they need to be accomplished.
I don't make resolutions anymore.
I just set goals, one or two at a time, and work on them as the year progresses.
This seems to work out better for me.
Once I accomplish one, I can set another one and work on it.
I hope everyone has a happy and fulfilling New Year!
May your dreams come true!
Live life. It's shorter than you know. Don't waste time on things that have little or no value.
Peace and Light Walk.

I've really learned to appreciate the blog sites, especially the ones that limit the spam that can be put in the comments section.I guess in a perfect world people would respect the space of others.
So, I spend part of my already busy day removing spam "comments" from my blog.
I wonder if these people who do the spamming don't have anything else to do in life but cause extra work and irritation to others.
You may be wondering what this has to do with the actual content of my blog posts. I think alot.
People who do things dishonestly like spam are creating a lot of negative for themselves. They will never be truly rich for any length of time because the money they do happen to make from this "line of work" will always be gone before they know it.
That's just how things work. What you send out comes back to you. In this case the negative will come back to them in many forms.
I hope at some point they will realize that it's not worth the ultimate price they are paying.

Ah, Labor Day weekend!Last ditch effort to get out and enjoy the nice weather, friends, and good food!
Go camping, biking, hiking, swimming, boating, and a million other things . . . with a million other people jockeying for the same things.
Nothing wrong with spending time with loved ones and having a little fun. I just wonder why people don't do it more often.
I mean why do it on the same weekend as everyone else?
I don't think it's a matter of having the day off work.
If you've worked at a place for any length of time, you'll have days saved up, right?
So, if you just started a job and have no vacation days, then why not do something on your regular days off?
I just can't seem to figure out this holiday thing where people wait to do stuff until a holiday.
Why not spend time with your parents or friends any old weekend?
What's keeping you from having a nice homecooked meal whenever you can instead of waiting for Thanksgiving or Mothers Day?
I think people would be so much happier if they spent more time doing things that are fun or meaningful.
After all, it's not the job we have regrets about when we lose someone.
It's the time we spent (or did not spend) with them.
